9. The Personality of Satan • We believe in the personality of Satan, who is the open and declared enemy of God and man.
10. The Blessed Hope • We believe that the next great event in the fulfillment of prophecy will be the coming of the Lord Jesus in the air to receive to Himself the dead in Christ and believers who are alive at His coming, otherwise known as the Rapture and Translation of the church.
11. The Tribulation • We believe that the Great Tribulation will follow the Rapture of the Church.
12. The Second Coming of Christ • We believe that the great tribulation will be climaxed by the (premillennial) return of the Lord Jesus Christ to earth to set up His Thousand Year Kingdom.
13. The Eternal State • We believe that the souls of those who have trusted in the Lord Jesus Christ for salvation do at death immediately pass into His presence, and there remain in conscious bliss until the resurrection of the body at His coming, when soul and body reunited shall be associated with Him forever in Glory; but the soul of unbelievers remain after death in conscious misery until the final judgment of the great white throne at the close of the millennium when soul and body reunited shall be cast into the lake of fire, not to be annihilated, but to be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power.
14. Gifts • We believe that the purposes for which the Spirit gives ministry gifts to believers are described in Ephesians 4:12-16 and that the gifts of tongues and healing were, like the gifts of apostleship and prophecy, given for the founding of the church. While we recognize that God may give any gift to the church at any time, and that He does heal, we believe that the current resurgence of the practice of tongues and healing are not the Scriptural gifts.
15. The Responsibility of Believers • We believe that all believers should seek to walk in such a manner as not to bring reproach upon their Lord and Savior and that separation from un-Christ like pleasures and practices is commanded of God; that it is the obligation of every believer to witness by deed and by word to the truths of Holy Scriptures and to seek to proclaim the Gospel to all the world; that it is the responsibility of all believers to remember the work of the Lord in prayer and to support it with their means as the Lord has prospered them.
16. Church Ordinances • We believe that there are two ordinances: Baptism and the Lord's Supper. Baptism is the immersion of a believer in water and is properly called believers' baptism. It portrays in a beautiful and solemn way our faith in a crucified, buried and risen Savior, with its effects in our lives of a death to sin and resurrection to a new life. The Lord's Supper is the commemoration of our Lord's death until He comes and our continual fellowship with Him, and should be preceded by careful self-examination.

1. The Bible • We believe the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are the verbally inspired Word of God, the final authority for faith and life, inerrant in the original writings, infallible and God-breathed.
2. God • The Godhead exists eternally in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, and these three are one God.
3. The Lost Condition of Man • We believe that man is created in the image and likeness of God, but that in Adam's sin the race fell, became alienated from God, inherited a sinful nature, and is unable by his own strength to remedy his lost condition.
4. The Person and Work of Christ • We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ, the Eternal Son of God, became man, without ceasing to be God, having been conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary, in order that He might reveal God and redeem sinful man; that He accomplished our redemption through His death on the cross as a substitute sacrifice; that our redemption is made sure to us by His literal physical resurrection from the dead; that the Lord Jesus Christ is now in Heaven, exalted at the right hand of God, where as the High Priest for His people, He fulfills the ministry of Representative, Intercessor and Advocate.
5. Salvation • We believe that salvation is the gift of God, given to man by grace and received by personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, whose precious blood was shed for the forgiveness of our sins.
6. Assurance • We believe that all the redeemed once saved can know salvation is a present possession and are kept by God's power and thus secure in Christ forever. It is the privilege of believers to rejoice in the assurance of their salvation through the testimony of God's Word, which, however, clearly forbids the use of Christian liberty as an occasion to the flesh.
7. Holy Spirit • We believe that the Holy Spirit is a divine person with God the Father and the Son and of the same nature; that He was active in the creation; that He convicts of sin, of righteousness, and of judgment; that He restrains the evil one until God's purpose is fulfilled; that He is the Supernatural agent in regeneration, baptizing all believers into the body of Christ, indwelling and sealing them unto the day of redemption. We believe the Holy Spirit is the divine Teacher who guides believers into all truth and that it is the privilege of all who are saved to be filled with the Spirit.
8. The Church • [A] We believe that the Church, which is the body and bride of Christ, is a spiritual organism made up of all born-again persons of this age, irrespective of their affiliation with Christian organizations. [B] The Country Bible Church is evangelical, evangelistic, non-charismatic, and denominationally unrelated; its members fellowshipping fully and heartily with other evangelical believers of similar persuasion.
